Rossiters
Who benefits from Rossiters?
Elderly - By increasing movement within the body it increases it outside e.g. Walking, bending, arm movements etc.
Workers- Repetitive strain are very common within the work- force and can cause people to be out of work with pain e.g. back, carpal tunnel and other various strains.
Sports - specific movements and high impact can reduce performance and cause injuries Rossiters increase this range of motion and free s you of pain, maintains and improves per- formance.
How are you treated?
You treat yourself by putting in the work with the guidance of your Rossiters coach. They apply pressure to connective tissue which you stretch and so lengthen the tissue which releases the problem by creating space in the body and taking pressure off joints and muscles. Connective tissue is throughout the body and tightens/shortens over time with age, overuse and injury. This also improves circulation and lymph drainage.
How quick are results?
Results vary some symptoms go instantly some take longer and the more work you put in the quicker you increase your move- ment and get rid of pain.
How many treatments are needed?
Depends on the complexity of the pain e.g. how long you`ve had it and how much work you put into the treatment. Once the pain is gone Rossiters will help to stay mobile and pain free!
Who is your coach and why do they do Rossiters?
Having been a therapist since 1995 with a keen interest of therapies before this, I have a vast experience within the field of various therapies for various problems. At present practising Podiatry whilst specialising in Biomechanics working out of a local running shop.
I came across Rossiters when attending a health show in London. I'd had problems with my back in the past and attended hospital a few times. The recent bout I’d had for 4months, passed out in pain, regularly not been able to move, only relief was Diazepam and strong pain killers and anti inflammatories which still left it tender with limited movement and also even thought of giving up my job as it was a contributory factor.
The day of the show I was supposed to drive but could not and had to lie in the back of the car, take strong pain killers, wear a back support, struggled to get out of the car on arriving in London and could not sit on the tube.
When passing the Rossiters stand it was commented on my back being bad and would I lie down, I replied if I did I wouldn’t be able to get back up again. I was told I would be ok. Having had 2 osteopathy treatments that week and being still in a lot of pain I said you can t treat acute back pain.
Reluctantly I lay down, strangely was trod on, on my leg and unbelievably my back was 80% better within 10minuites. It had gone from rock solid, painful muscle to soft not painful. I walked around for an hour then went back to the stand now not in pain and able to tie my shoe laces. I enquired about the treatment and spoke to a few other people who had the treat- ment. Richard Rossiter had a course running so I cancelled all my work after my holiday so to do the training, which I have continued since. I had no need to do the treatment as I was fully booked at work but I find the treatment the most effective thing I’ve come across and very excited about its future.

Kim / Tennis Elbow
I have been playing tennis for 30 years as it is my passion. Recently I have
had tennis elbow and have not been able to play tennis which has made me feel low and the experience has been painful. After having physio therapy quite a few times I was not getting any results and felt at a loss emotionally and financially as physio is expensive. After discovering the rossiters technique performed by Stuart Brown I have found I am no longer in pain and
I can play tennis once again.
The technique is slightly painful whilst been performed but afterwards my
arm felt very light, slightly painful for a day or two but after that the results were
amazing and I would strongly recommend it to anyone. I have gone from been unable to play tennis, unable to exercise to been a very happy tennis player once again. |

K / Hamstrings (Plays top flight professional football club)
Was sidelined with hamstrings problems not long ago for over two months.
This had flared up again and unable to play, he was worried and the club physio said to rest for at least few weeks, after having one session he had increased movement and no pain, then he had a few more with his father after I taught him and he was fine and told me a month later the improvement was so much that it made him realise how bad his other leg was and is now treating that to prevent injury. |
